Meet the founder

Built by a collector who got tired of guessing.

James Downie has spent years building a large collection of Trance and House records from the 90s and 2000s. His mother owns an equally impressive stash of vinyl from the 60s and 70s. Between them, a lot of music, and no quick way to know what any of it was worth.

The tools on offer were slow, fiddly and never built for whole collections. So James built the one he wanted, and Spinworth was born.
